Since our organization's founding in 1936 Italian Charities of America, Inc. has annually sponsored an Dinner Dance event to celebrate the Italian American community in New York City. The Annual Dinner Dance honors Italian American individuals who have been an instrumental force in preserving Italian American culture, heritage and pride. Italian Charities of America chooses their honorees based on their efforts in making a difference in society and within the Italian American community and causes. We strive to set aside this day to come together and celebrate our heritage but most of all to honor those who share our mission of promoting and preserving Italian American heritage, culture, history and social justice.

On October 23rd, 2022 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at our 86th Annual Dinner Dance we will be celebrating these Italian American Honorees for their outstanding work and achievements.

Joseph Petrosino, Esq. will be honored with our Christopher Columbus Award

Silvana Mangione will be honored with our Italian American Ambassador Award

Giovanni Pinto will be honored with our Italian American Community Service Award

Dr. Donna M. Chirico will be honored with our Italian American Leadership Award

Dr. Antonio Carlo Vitti will be honored with our Lifetime Achievement Award

Louisa Calio will be honored with our Renaissance Award

Our 86th Dinner Dance will be held at Roma View located in Howard Beach, NY. Tickets are $125.00 a person which includes cocktail hour, open bar, dinner, dancing and awards ceremony. Music by Dominic Karcic and The Continental Sound. Please call or email us if you would like to purchase tickets.
